The Organisation shall have legal personality.
In each of the Contracting States, the Organisation shall enjoy the most extensive legal capacity accorded to legal persons under the national law of that State; it may in particular acquire or dispose of movable and immovable property and may be a party to legal proceedings.
The President of the European Patent Office shall represent the Organisation.
De Organisatie bezit rechtspersoonlijkheid.
In elk van de Verdragsluitende Staten heeft de Organisatie de ruimste wettelijke bevoegdheid die door de nationale wetgeving aan rechtspersonen wordt toegekend; zij kan met name roerende en onroerende goederen verwerven of vervreemden en in rechte optreden.
De President van het Europees Octrooibureau vertegenwoordigt de Organisatie.
