Restitution of a cultural object that has been brought into the Netherlands in violation of the prohibition referred to in Article 6.3 may be claimed, with due observance of Articles 1011a up to and including 1011d of the Code of Civil Procedure, by the Contracting State from which the cultural object originates or by the person entitled to that cultural object.
Van een cultuurgoed dat in strijd met het verbod, bedoeld in artikel 6.3, binnen Nederland is gebracht, kan met inachtneming van de artikelen 1011a tot en met 1011d van het Wetboek van Burgerlijke Rechtsvordering teruggave worden gevorderd door de verdragsstaat waaruit het cultuurgoed afkomstig is of door de rechthebbende op dat cultuurgoed.
