Article 10:142

For the purposes of this title, the following definitions apply:
the 1985 Hague Trust Convention: the Convention on the Law Applicable to Trusts and on their Recognition, concluded at The Hague on 1 July 1985 (Trb. 1985 141);
trust: a trust as described in Article 2 of the Hague Trust Convention 1985, which has been created by an expression of will and is evidenced in writing.
Voor de toepassing van deze titel wordt verstaan onder:
het Haags Trustverdrag 1985: het op 1 juli 1985 te ’s-Gravenhage tot stand gekomen Verdrag inzake het recht dat toepasselijk is op trusts en inzake de erkenning van trusts (Trb. 1985 141);
trust: een trust als omschreven in artikel 2 van het Haags Trustverdrag 1985, die door een wilsuiting in het leven is geroepen en waarvan blijkt uit een geschrift.
