Whether a right or right of action is prescribed or has lapsed is determined by the law applicable to the legal relationship from which that right or right of action arose.
Of een recht of rechtsvordering is verjaard of vervallen, wordt bepaald door het recht dat van toepassing is op de rechtsverhouding waaruit dat recht of die rechtsvordering is ontstaan.
