Opposition to an international application for which protection has been requested to be extended to the Benelux territory may be filed with the Office within a period of two months, calculated from the date of publication by the International Bureau. Articles 2.14 up to and including 2.16bis shall apply mutatis mutandis.
The Office shall without delay notify the International Bureau in writing of the filed opposition, stating the provisions of Articles 2.14 up to and including 2.16bis, as well as the relevant provisions of the implementing regulations pertaining thereto.
Tegen een internationale aanvraag waarvan is verzocht de bescherming uit te strekken tot het Benelux-gebied kan binnen een termijn van twee maanden, te rekenen vanaf de publicatie door het Internationaal Bureau, oppositie worden ingesteld bij het Bureau. De artikelen 2.14 tot en met 2.16bis zijn van overeenkomstige toepassing.
Het Bureau geeft onverwijld schriftelijk kennis aan het Internationaal Bureau van de ingediende oppositie onder vermelding van het bepaalde in de artikelen 2.14 tot en met 2.16bis evenals de daarop betrekking hebbende bepalingen uit het uitvoeringsreglement.
