Article 2.11, paragraphs 1 and 2, shall apply mutatis mutandis to international applications.
The Office shall notify the International Bureau of its intention to refuse the registration, stating the reasons therefor, as soon as possible in writing by means of a provisional total or partial refusal of protection of the mark and shall thereby provide the applicant with the opportunity to respond thereto in accordance with the provisions of the implementing regulations. Article 2.11, paragraphs 4 and 5, shall apply mutatis mutandis.
Artikel 2.11, lid 1 en 2, is van overeenkomstige toepassing op internationale aanvragen.
Het Bureau geeft van zijn voornemen de inschrijving te weigeren, onder opgave van redenen, zo spoedig mogelijk schriftelijk kennis aan het Internationaal Bureau door middel van een voorlopige gehele of gedeeltelijke weigering van bescherming van het merk en stelt de aanvrager daarbij in de gelegenheid hierop te antwoorden overeenkomstig het bepaalde bij uitvoeringsreglement. Artikel 2.11, lid 4 en 5, is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
