The Office shall register without delay the Benelux deposits, as well as the international deposits published in the "Bulletin International des dessins ou modèles – International Design Gazette" in respect of which the depositors have requested that their effects be extended to the Benelux territory.
Without prejudice to the provisions of Articles 3.12 and 3.13, the Office shall, in accordance with the implementing regulations, publish the registrations of Benelux filings as soon as possible.
If the characteristic features of the design or model are not sufficiently represented in the publication, the depositor may, within the prescribed period, request the Office to effect a second publication free of charge.
From the date of publication of the design or model, the public may inspect the registration and the documents submitted with the application.
Het Bureau schrijft onverwijld de Benelux-depots in, evenals de internationale depots die gepubliceerd zijn in het „Bulletin International des dessins ou modèles – International Design Gazette" ten aanzien waarvan de deposanten verzocht hebben dat zij hun werking zullen uitstrekken over het Benelux-gebied.
Onverminderd het bepaalde in artikelen 3.12 en 3.13, publiceert het Bureau overeenkomstig het uitvoeringsreglement zo spoedig mogelijk de inschrijvingen van Benelux-depots.
Indien de kenmerkende eigenschappen van de tekening of het model in de publicatie niet voldoende tot hun recht komen, kan de deposant, binnen de daartoe vastgestelde termijn, het Bureau verzoeken kosteloos een tweede publicatie te verrichten.
Vanaf de datum van publicatie van de tekening of het model kan het publiek kennis nemen van de inschrijving en van de bij het depot overgelegde stukken.
