The authority referred to in the second paragraph of Article 63, not being Our Minister, shall send the declaration of renunciation as well as a copy of the confirmation to Our Minister; he shall retain a copy thereof.
He shall, moreover, send a copy of the confirmation to the authority responsible for maintaining the data in the basic administration concerning the person to whom the renunciation relates. With respect to persons residing in their country, he shall also send a copy of the declaration of renunciation and of the confirmation to the Minister of Justice of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
Insofar as applicable, the authority before whom a declaration of renunciation has been made, as well as the authority referred to in the preceding paragraph who has received a copy of the confirmation referred to in paragraph 3 of Article 63, shall ensure that
the declaration of renunciation of Dutch citizenship is processed in the personal records database;
the Dutch travel documents issued to the persons who have lost their Dutch nationality by or as a consequence of the renunciation, shall be withdrawn in accordance with the Passport Act (Paspoortwet);
if applicable: the persons concerned shall be referred to the Aliens Police (Vreemdelingendienst).
De in het tweede lid van artikel 63 genoemde autoriteit, niet zijnde Onze Minister, zendt de verklaring van afstand alsmede een afschrift van de bevestiging toe aan Onze Minister; hij behoudt een afschrift daarvan.
Hij zendt bovendien een afschrift van de bevestiging aan de autoriteit die verantwoordelijk is voor het bijhouden in de basisadministratie van de gegevens over de persoon die de afstand betreft. Met betrekking tot personen die in hun land woonachtig zijn, zendt hij tevens een afschrift van de verklaring van afstand en van de bevestiging aan de Minister van Justitie van Aruba, Curaçao en Sint Maarten.
Voorzoveel van toepassing bevordert de autoriteit ten overstaan van wie een verklaring van afstand is afgelegd, alsmede de in het voorgaande lid bedoelde autoriteit die een afschrift van de bevestiging bedoeld in het derde lid van artikel 63 heeft ontvangen, dat
de verklaring van afstand van het Nederlanderschap in de basisadministratie wordt verwerkt;
de Nederlandse reisdocumenten die waren uitgereikt aan de personen die door of als gevolg van de afstand het Nederlanderschap hebben verloren, overeenkomstig de Paspoortwet worden ingenomen;
indien van toepassing: de betrokkenen worden verwezen naar de Vreemdelingendienst van de politie.
