in forceIf a laboratory other than the laboratory of the institute intends to terminate its activities in the field of forensic DNA research, that laboratory shall ensure that the copies of the reports, as referred to in Article 10, paragraph 1, which are kept at that laboratory, and the other data it keeps in connection therewith, are transferred to the institute prior to the termination of those activities, unless the laboratory merges with another laboratory as referred to in Article 7, paragraph 3. In the latter case, the copies of the reports and the other data that the laboratory keeps in connection therewith shall be kept at that other laboratory.
Indien een ander laboratorium dan het laboratorium van het instituut voornemens is zijn werkzaamheden op het terrein van forensisch DNA-onderzoek te beëindigen, zorgt dat laboratorium ervoor dat de afschriften van de verslagen, bedoeld in artikel 10, eerste lid, die bij dat laboratorium worden bewaard, en de andere gegevens die het in verband daarmee bewaart, voor de beëindiging van die werkzaamheden worden overgedragen aan het instituut, tenzij het laboratorium fuseert met een ander laboratorium als bedoeld in artikel 7, derde lid. In het laatste geval worden de afschriften van de verslagen en de andere gegevens die het laboratorium in verband daarmee bewaart, in dat andere laboratorium bewaard.
