1).

This Convention shall remain in force without limitation as to time.

2).

Any country may denounce this Act by notification addressed to the Director General. Such denunciation shall constitute also denunciation of all earlier Acts and shall affect only the country making it, the Convention remaining in full force and effect as regards the other countries of the Union.

3).

Denunciation shall take effect one year after the day on which the Director General has received the notification.

4).

The right of denunciation provided by this Article shall not be exercised by any country before the expiration of five years from the date upon which it becomes a member of the Union.

Deze Conventie blijft voor onbepaalde tijd van kracht.

2).

Elk land kan deze Akte opzeggen door een aan de Directeur-Generaal te richten schriftelijke kennisgeving. Deze opzegging houdt tevens opzegging van alle vroegere Akten in en betreft slechts het land dat heeft opgezegd; de Conventie blijft van kracht en van toepassing ten aanzien van de andere landen van de Unie.

3).

De opzegging wordt van kracht een jaar na de datum waarop de Directeur-Generaal de kennisgeving heeft ontvangen.

4).

De bevoegdheid tot opzegging, bedoeld in dit artikel, kan door een land slechts worden uitgeoefend na afloop van een termijn van vijf jaren te rekenen van de datum waarop dat land lid van de Unie is geworden.
