In cases where, pursuant to this Act, a decision regarding the provisional deprivation of liberty of a convicted person can or must be taken, it may be ordered that such deprivation of liberty be conditionally suspended or stayed.
Articles 80-88 of the Code of Criminal Procedure shall apply mutatis mutandis to orders issued by the court or by the examining magistrate pursuant to the preceding paragraph.
The time limit referred to in Article 11, paragraph 2, under b, shall not run during the period in which the convicted person has evaded the further execution of the ordered detention.
In gevallen waarin krachtens deze wet een beslissing omtrent de voorlopige vrijheidsbeneming van een veroordeelde kan of moet worden genomen, kan worden bevolen dat die vrijheidsbeneming voorwaardelijk wordt opgeschort of geschorst.
Op bevelen krachtens het vorige lid gegeven door de rechtbank, dan wel door de rechter-commissaris zijn de artikelen 80-88 van het Wetboek van Strafvordering van overeenkomstige toepassing.
De termijn, genoemd in artikel 11, tweede lid, onder b, loopt niet gedurende de tijd dat de veroordeelde zich aan de verdere tenuitvoerlegging van de gelaste bewaring heeft onttrokken.
