In the event that the defendant has been summoned to appear before the police judge, the police judge may act as the chambers (raadkamer) with regard to:
the decision to adjourn the examination at the hearing, as referred to in Article 262, paragraph 2;
the hearing of the claim of the public prosecutor, as referred to in Article 68, paragraph 3;
the hearing of the objection against the writ of summons.
In geval de verdachte is gedagvaard om voor de politierechter te verschijnen, kan de politierechter optreden als raadkamer met betrekking tot:
de beslissing tot uitstel van het onderzoek op de terechtzitting, bedoeld in artikel 262, tweede lid;
de behandeling van de vordering van de officier van justitie, bedoeld in artikel 68, derde lid;
de behandeling van het bezwaarschrift tegen de dagvaarding.
