On the basis of facts or circumstances as referred to in Article 512, any of the judges hearing a case may request to be excused.
2.
The petition shall be made in writing and shall be substantiated. During the court hearing, it may also be made orally.
3.
If the petition is made during the hearing, the hearing shall be adjourned.

Op grond van feiten of omstandigheden als bedoeld in artikel 512 kan elk van de rechters die een zaak behandelen, verzoeken zich te mogen verschonen.
2.
Het verzoek geschiedt schriftelijk en is gemotiveerd. Tijdens de terechtzitting kan het ook mondeling geschieden.
3.
Geschiedt het verzoek ter terechtzitting, dan wordt de terechtzitting geschorst.
