The court that is called upon to make any decision in the case is authorised to provide the suspect with the opportunity to be heard.
2.
A petition to that effect by the suspect shall be granted, unless the interest of the investigation prohibits this.
3.
Article 23, paragraph 5, shall apply.

Het gerecht dat tot eenige beslissing in de zaak is geroepen, is bevoegd den verdachte in de gelegenheid te stellen om te worden gehoord.
2.
Aan een daartoe strekkend verzoek van den verdachte wordt gevolg gegeven, tenzij het belang van het onderzoek dit verbiedt.
3.
Artikel 23, vijfde lid, is van toepassing.
