The term of the measure of placement in an institution for habitual offenders (plaatsing in een inrichting voor stelselmatige daders) does not run:
during the time that the person upon whom it has been imposed is deprived of their liberty on other grounds, and during the time that they are unlawfully absent;
as soon as the person who has been placed in an institution is unlawfully absent for more than one day.
De termijn van de maatregel plaatsing in een inrichting voor stelselmatige daders loopt niet:
gedurende de tijd dat aan degene aan wie deze is opgelegd, uit anderen hoofde zijn vrijheid is ontnomen en gedurende de tijd dat hij ongeoorloofd afwezig is;
zodra degene die in een inrichting geplaatst is, langer dan een dag ongeoorloofd afwezig is.
