An endorsement appearing on a cheque to bearer renders the endorser liable in accordance with the provisions concerning the right of recourse; it does not, however, convert the instrument into a cheque to order.
Een op eene chèque aan toonder voorkomend endossement maakt den endossant verantwoordelijk overeenkomstig de bepalingen betreffende het recht van regres; het maakt overigens den titel niet tot eene chèque aan order.
