The instrument in which one of the particulars indicated in the preceding article is missing shall not be valid as a promissory note, except in the cases mentioned below.
The promissory note of which the maturity date is not indicated, is deemed to be payable at sight.
In the absence of a special indication, the place of signature of the instrument is deemed to be the place of payment and also the place of domicile of the signatory.
The promissory note, which does not state the place of its signing, is deemed to have been signed in the place indicated next to the name of the signatory.
De titel, waarin ééne der vermeldingen, in het voorgaande artikel aangegeven, ontbreekt, geldt niet als orderbriefje, behoudens in de hieronder genoemde gevallen.
Het orderbriefje, waarvan de vervaldag niet is aangewezen, wordt beschouwd als betaalbaar op zicht.
Bij gebreke van een bijzondere aanwijzing wordt de plaats van de onderteekening van den titel geacht te zijn de plaats van betaling en tevens de plaats van het domicilie van den onderteekenaar.
Het orderbriefje, dat de plaats van zijne onderteekening niet vermeldt, wordt geacht te zijn onderteekend in de plaats, aangegeven naast den naam van den onderteekenaar.
