Article 53

The Netherlands Vehicle Authority (Dienst Wegverkeer) shall also issue a certificate of inspection for the vehicle concerned upon registration in the vehicle registration register and entry of the holder's name if:
The vehicle is subject to an inspection which includes at least a check of the requirements referred to in Article 75, paragraph 1, and
Article 72 applies to that vehicle or will apply to it within one year.
De Dienst Wegverkeer geeft bij inschrijving in het kentekenregister en tenaamstelling tevens een keuringsbewijs voor het betrokken voertuig af indien:
het voertuig is onderworpen aan een onderzoek dat ten minste een controle inhoudt op de eisen, bedoeld in artikel 75, eerste lid, en
artikel 72 voor dat voertuig geldt of binnen een jaar zal gaan gelden.
