This chapter contains the policy rules applicable to foreign nationals who wish to reside in the Netherlands for:
lerend werken;
seasonal work; or
service as a seafarer as a member of the crew on board the seagoing vessel specified in the application.
The policy rules are a supplement to or an elaboration of Articles 2u of the Aliens Act (Vreemdelingenwet), 3.30c, 3.39 of the Aliens Decree (Vreemdelingenbesluit) and Article 3.4, paragraph 4, of the Aliens Decree in conjunction with Article 3.16c of the Regulation on Aliens (Voorschrift Vreemdelingen).
In dit hoofdstuk zijn de beleidsregels opgenomen die gelden voor vreemdelingen die in Nederland willen verblijven voor:
lerend werken;
seizoenarbeid; of
schepelingendienst als lid van de bemanning aan boord van het bij de aanvraag opgegeven zeeschip.
De beleidsregels zijn een aanvulling op of een uitwerking van de artikelen 2u Vw, 3.30c, 3.39 Vb en artikel 3.4, vierde lid, Vb jo artikel 3.16c VV.
