For the purposes of this Chapter and Annex 1, the following definitions apply:
commercial vehicle: a commercial vehicle as referred to in Article 1.1 of the Regulation on Vehicles (Regeling voertuigen), with a maximum authorised mass not exceeding 3,500 kg;
emission class: class of greenhouse gas, pollutant gas and particulate matter emissions by a vehicle as referred to in the annex to the Vehicle Registration Regulations (Kentekenreglement);
fairground and circus lorry: a lorry that is actually used as a fairground and circus vehicle as referred to in Article 1.1 of the Vehicle Regulations (Regeling voertuigen) and designated in the vehicle registration register as a fairground and circus vehicle;
zero-emission vehicle: vehicle without exhaust emissions of greenhouse gases, polluting gases and particulates (emission class Z);
semi-trailer tractor: semi-trailer tractor as referred to in Article 1.1 of the Regulation on Vehicles (Regeling voertuigen) with vehicle classification N2 or N3;
removal truck: a goods vehicle used by a removal firm and intended for the transport of household effects;
wheelchair-accessible passenger car or commercial vehicle: a passenger car or commercial vehicle which, in the vehicle registration register, is provided with the special purpose designation for a wheelchair-accessible vehicle (code SH) or with the special feature codes 70, 145, 146, 147 or 149;
heavy goods vehicle for exceptional transport: heavy goods vehicle for exceptional transport as referred to in Article 1, under c, of the Decree on the Granting of Exemptions for Exceptional Transport (Besluit ontheffingverlening exceptioneel vervoer).
Voor de toepassing van dit hoofdstuk en bijlage 1 wordt verstaan onder:
bedrijfsauto: bedrijfsauto als bedoeld in artikel 1.1 van de Regeling voertuigen, met een toegestane maximum massa van niet meer dan 3.500 kg;
emissieklasse: klasse van uitstoot van broeikasgassen, verontreinigende gassen en deeltjes door een voertuig als bedoeld in de bijlage van het Kentekenreglement;
kermis- en circusvrachtauto: vrachtauto die feitelijk gebruikt wordt als kermis- en circusvoertuig als bedoeld in artikel 1.1 van de Regeling voertuigen en in het kentekenregister aangeduid als kermis- en circusvoertuig;
emissieloos voertuig: voertuig zonder uitlaatemissie van broeikasgassen, verontreinigende gassen en deeltjes (emissieklasse Z);
opleggertrekker: opleggertrekker als bedoeld in artikel 1.1 van de Regeling voertuigen met de voertuigclassificatie N2 of N3;
verhuisauto: vrachtauto die gebruikt wordt door een verhuisonderneming en bestemd voor het vervoeren van inboedels;
voor rolstoelen toegankelijke personen- of bedrijfsauto: personen- of bedrijfsauto die in het kentekenregister is voorzien van de aanduiding voor speciale doeleinden voor rolstoelen toegankelijk voertuig (code SH) of van de bijzonderheidscodes 70, 145, 146, 147 of 149;
vrachtauto voor exceptioneel transport: vrachtauto voor exceptioneel transport als bedoeld in artikel 1, onder c, van het Besluit ontheffingverlening exceptioneel vervoer.
