In the case of lane signals, the following applies:

a.

green arrow or maximum speed, indicated by sign A3 of Annex I: the traffic lane may be used;

b.

Red cross: the lane may not be used. The hard shoulder may only be used in emergencies.

c.

White arrow: advance warning of a red cross.

d.

The word "BUS": the traffic lane may only be used by drivers of a scheduled bus and drivers of a coach;

e.

The term "LIJNBUS": the traffic lane may only be used by drivers of a scheduled bus.

Bij rijstrooklichten betekent:

a.

groene pijl of maximumsnelheid, aangeduid door bord A3 van bijlage I: de rijstrook mag worden gebruikt;

b.

rood kruis: de rijstrook mag niet worden gebruikt. De vluchtstrook mag alleen in noodgevallen worden gebruikt;

c.

witte pijl: voorwaarschuwing rood kruis;

d.

het woord «BUS»: de rijstrook mag slechts gebruikt worden door bestuurders van een lijnbus en bestuurders van een autobus;

e.

het woord «LIJNBUS»: de rijstrook mag slechts worden gebruikt door bestuurders van een lijnbus.
