Stationary trailers must, outside built-up areas on the carriageway and on parking lanes, parking bays, hard shoulders and emergency bays located along motorways and expressways, display their rear lights and the parking lights prescribed in the Vehicle Regulations (Regeling voertuigen) during the day, if visibility is seriously obstructed, and at night.
Stilstaande aanhangwagens moeten buiten de bebouwde kom op de rijbaan en op langs autosnelwegen en autowegen gelegen parkeerstroken, parkeerhavens, vluchtstroken en vluchthavens bij dag, indien het zicht ernstig wordt belemmerd, en bij nacht achterlicht en het in de Regeling voertuigen voorgeschreven stadslicht voeren.
