In the event of fog, snowfall or rain that severely impairs visibility, drivers of a motor vehicle and of a vehicle for disabled persons may use front fog lights. In such cases, those drivers are not required to use dipped headlights.
In the event of fog or snowfall that restricts visibility to a distance of less than 50 metres, the rear fog lamp may be used.
Bij mist, sneeuwval of regen, die het zicht ernstig belemmert, mogen bestuurders van een motorvoertuig en van een gehandicaptenvoertuig mistlicht aan de voorzijde voeren. In dat geval hoeven die bestuurders geen dimlicht te voeren.
Bij mist of sneeuwval, die het zicht beperkt tot een afstand van minder dan 50 meter mag mistachterlicht worden gevoerd.
