Articles 29 up to and including 30a shall not apply to Belgian and German motor vehicles in use by the police and fire services, in use by emergency medical services, as well as motor vehicles of Belgian and German emergency services designated by or pursuant to Article 29, paragraph 1, provided that these vehicles each display the signals in accordance with the statutory rules applicable to them in their own country.
De artikelen 29 tot en met 30a zijn niet van toepassing op Belgische en Duitse motorvoertuigen in gebruik bij politie en brandweer, in gebruik bij diensten voor spoedeisende hulpverlening alsmede motorvoertuigen van Belgische en Duitse hulpverleningsdiensten, aangewezen bij of krachtens artikel 29, eerste lid, mits deze voertuigen elk de signalen voeren overeenkomstig de voor hen in hun eigen land geldende wettelijke regels.
