For the purposes of this decree, a reference to an EC directive or a UN/ECE regulation shall be understood as defined in Article 1.2 of the Vehicle Regulations (Regeling voertuigen), including the amendments published pursuant to Article 1.3, paragraph 1, of the Vehicle Regulations (Regeling voertuigen). Article 1.3, paragraph 2, of the Vehicle Regulations (Regeling voertuigen) shall apply mutatis mutandis.
Onder de vermelding in dit besluit van een EG-richtlijn of VN/ECE-reglement wordt verstaan hetgeen daaronder wordt begrepen in artikel 1.2 van de Regeling voertuigen, met inbegrip van de ingevolge artikel 1.3, eerste lid, van de Regeling voertuigen bekendgemaakte wijzigingen. Artikel 1.3, tweede lid, van de Regeling voertuigen is van overeenkomstige toepassing.
