If a witness is prevented by reason of illness or otherwise from coming to the courthouse, the judge may join him in order to receive his statement or request the judge, referred to in Article 174, to examine him.
Indien een getuige verhinderd is uit hoofde van ziekte of anderszins om naar het gerechtsgebouw te komen, kan de rechter zich bij hem vervoegen tot het ontvangen van zijn verklaring of de rechter, in artikel 174 bedoeld, verzoeken hem te verhoren.
