There is an office charged with the implementation of this Kingdom Act and other tasks imposed by or pursuant to law or binding international obligations. The office is named Octrooicentrum Nederland. The office is an institution of the Netherlands and also serves, insofar as it concerns patents, for the Netherlands, Curaçao and Sint Maarten as the central repository as referred to in Article 12 of the revision of the Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, concluded at Paris on 20 March 1883, concluded at Stockholm on 14 July 1967 (Trb. 1969, 144).
The organisation and working method of the office shall be determined by decision of Our Minister.
Er is een bureau belast met de uitvoering van deze rijkswet en andere bij of krachtens wet of bindende internationale verplichtingen opgelegde taken. Het bureau heet Octrooicentrum Nederland. Het bureau is een instelling van Nederland en dient tevens, voor zover het octrooien betreft, voor Nederland Curaçao en Sint Maarten als centrale bewaarplaats als bedoeld in artikel 12 van de op 14 juli 1967 te Stockholm tot stand gekomen herziening van het op 20 maart 1883 te Parijs tot stand gekomen Verdrag tot bescherming van de industriële eigendom (Trb. 1969, 144).
Bij besluit van Onze Minister worden inrichting en werkwijze van het bureau bepaald.
