in force(Involuntary) medical treatment
Before the head of the institution takes the decision to continue compulsory treatment, he shall consult at least the psychiatrist responsible for the treatment and the head of the department where the patient is staying.
In the consultation referred to in the first paragraph, it shall be examined whether the intended effect can still be expected from the continuation of the treatment.
The outcomes of the multidisciplinary consultation, as referred to in Article 33a, paragraph 4, shall be taken into account in the decision.
Voordat het hoofd van de inrichting de beslissing tot voortzetting van a-dwangbehandeling neemt, pleegt hij overleg met in ieder geval de voor de behandeling verantwoordelijke psychiater en met het hoofd van de afdeling waar de verpleegde verblijft.
In het in het eerste lid bedoelde overleg wordt nagegaan of van de voortzetting van de behandeling alsnog het beoogde effect kan worden verwacht.
De uitkomsten van het multidisciplinaire overleg, bedoeld in artikel 33a, vierde lid, worden bij de beslissing meegenomen.
