Police education is aimed at the acquisition of knowledge, insight, skills and attitude necessary for the performance of police duties. Police education furthermore promotes the general education and personal development of the students and contributes to their social functioning.
Police education is aligned with the requirements indicated by the police.
Het politieonderwijs is gericht op de verwerving van kennis, inzicht, vaardigheden en houding, nodig voor de uitoefening van de politietaak. Het politieonderwijs bevordert tevens de algemene vorming en de persoonlijke ontplooiing van de studenten en draagt bij tot hun maatschappelijk functioneren.
Het politieonderwijs sluit aan bij de door de politie aangegeven behoefte.
