Orders for deprivation of liberty, issued pursuant to this Act, are immediately enforceable.
The officials referred to in Article 141 of the Code of Criminal Procedure are authorised to execute European arrest warrants, Dutch arrest warrants, provisional arrests, or orders for detention.
Articles 6:1:6, 6:1:7, 6:1:9, 6:1:15 and 6:2:1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure apply to the execution of a European arrest warrant, the orders for deprivation of liberty referred to in the first paragraph, and the warrant issued for that purpose.
De bevelen tot vrijheidsbeneming, gegeven krachtens deze wet, zijn dadelijk uitvoerbaar.
Bevoegd tot het ten uitvoer leggen van Europese aanhoudingsbevelen, Nederlandse bevelen tot aanhouding, voorlopige aanhouding of gevangenneming zijn de in artikel 141 van het Wetboek van Strafvordering bedoelde ambtenaren.
Op de tenuitvoerlegging van een Europees aanhoudingsbevel, de in het eerste lid bedoelde bevelen tot vrijheidsbeneming en de last daartoe zijn de artikelen 6:1:6, 6:1:7, 6:1:9, 6:1:15 en 6:2:1 van het Wetboek van Strafvordering van toepassing.
