An administrative body shall notify the Service, stating its reasons, of its reasonable doubt regarding the accuracy of data incorporated into a registration which, pursuant to an act other than this Act, has been designated as authentic.
The Service shall forward a notification as referred to in the first paragraph without delay to the administrator of the relevant basic registration, and shall notify the administrative body that made the notification thereof.
Een bestuursorgaan meldt aan de Dienst, onder opgaaf van redenen, zijn gerede twijfel omtrent de juistheid van een in een registratie overgenomen gegeven dat krachtens een andere wet dan deze wet als authentiek is aangemerkt.
De Dienst zendt een melding als bedoeld in het eerste lid onverwijld door aan de beheerder van de betreffende basisregistratie, en doet daarvan mededeling aan het bestuursorgaan dat de melding heeft gedaan.
