Article 166
in forceEFFECTS OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT AND OF THE EUROPEAN PATENT APPLICATION
This Convention shall be open to accession by:
the States referred to in Article 165, paragraph 1;
any other European State at the invitation of the Administrative Council.
Any State which has been a party to the Convention and has ceased to be so as a result of the application of Article 172, paragraph 4, may again become a party to the Convention by acceding to it.
Instruments of accession shall be deposited with the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Dit Verdrag staat open voor toetreding door:
de Staten bedoeld in artikel 165, eerste lid;
elke andere Europese Staat op uitnodiging van de Raad van Bestuur.
Elke Staat die partij is geweest bij dit Verdrag en die ingevolge artikel 172, vierde lid, geen partij meer is, kan opnieuw partij bij dit Verdrag worden door toetreding.
De akten van toetreding worden nedergelegd bij de Regering van de Bondsrepubliek Duitsland.
