Article 145

The group of Contracting States may set up a select committee of the Administrative Council for the purpose of supervising the activities of the special departments set up under Article 143, paragraph 2; the European Patent Office shall place at its disposal such staff, premises and equipment as may be necessary for the performance of its duties. The President of the European Patent Office shall be responsible for the activities of the special departments to the select committee of the Administrative Council.
The composition, powers and functions of the select committee shall be determined by the group of Contracting States.
De groep Verdragsluitende Staten kan een Beperkte Commissie van de Raad van Bestuur instellen voor toezicht op de werkzaamheden van de ingevolge artikel 143, tweede lid, ingestelde bijzondere organen; het Europees Octrooibureau stelt deze Commissie het personeel, de accommodatie en het materiaal ter beschikking, dat voor de uitvoering van haar taak benodigd is. De President van het Europees Octrooibureau dient ten overstaan van de Beperkte Commissie van de Raad van Bestuur verantwoording af te leggen voor de werkzaamheden van de bijzondere organen.
De samenstelling, de bevoegdheden en de werkzaamheden van de Beperkte Commissie worden bepaald door de groep Verdragsluitende Staten.
