The death of the principal shall only cause the mandate to terminate if this follows from the agreement, and then only from the time at which the agent has become aware of the death.
If the assignment ends due to the death of the client, the contractor is nevertheless obliged to do everything that the circumstances require in the interest of the counterparty.
De dood van de opdrachtgever doet de opdracht slechts eindigen, indien dit uit de overeenkomst voortvloeit, en dan eerst vanaf het tijdstip waarop de opdrachtnemer de dood heeft gekend.
Eindigt de opdracht door de dood van de opdrachtgever, dan is de opdrachtnemer niettemin verplicht al datgene te doen wat de omstandigheden in het belang van de wederpartij eisen.
