The stay shall be effected by service of a deed upon the registrar of the municipality where the solemnisation of the marriage is to take place.
The deed shall contain the choice of a domicile in that municipality and the grounds for the stay and shall state the capacity which grants the opponent the power to stay the marriage; all on pain of nullity.
The party entering the opposition shall cause a copy of the writ of opposition to be served without delay upon the party against whom the opposition is directed.
De stuiting geschiedt door betekening van een akte aan de ambtenaar van de burgerlijke stand van de gemeente waar het huwelijk zal worden voltrokken.
De akte houdt de keus van een woonplaats in die gemeente en de gronden van de stuiting in en vermeldt de hoedanigheid die aan de opposant de bevoegdheid geeft om het huwelijk te stuiten; alles op straffe van nietigheid.
De opposant zal afschrift der akte van stuiting onverwijld doen betekenen aan de partij, tegen welke de stuiting is gericht.
