Without prejudice to the application of Articles 2.11, 2.14 and 2.16, the trademark applied for shall be registered for the goods or services specified by the applicant, provided that the requirements laid down in the implementing regulations have been met. The Office shall confirm the registration to the trademark holder.
The applicant may, if all requirements referred to in Article 2.5 have been met, request the Office, in accordance with the provisions of the implementing regulations, to proceed with the registration of the application without delay. Articles 2.11, 2.14 and 2.16 shall apply to the trademarks registered in this manner, with the proviso that the Office is authorised to decide on the cancellation of the registration.
Onverminderd de toepassing van de artikelen 2.11, 2.14 en 2.16 wordt het aangevraagde merk, indien aan de in het uitvoeringsreglement gestelde vereisten is voldaan, voor de door de aanvrager vermelde waren of diensten ingeschreven. Het Bureau bevestigt de inschrijving aan de merkhouder.
De aanvrager kan, indien aan alle in artikel 2.5 bedoelde vereisten is voldaan, het Bureau verzoeken, overeenkomstig de bepalingen van het uitvoeringsreglement, om onverwijld tot inschrijving van de aanvraag over te gaan. Op de aldus ingeschreven merken zijn de artikelen 2.11, 2.14 en 2.16 van toepassing, met dien verstande dat het Bureau bevoegd is tot de doorhaling van de inschrijving te besluiten.
