For the implementation of a treaty or an EU regulation, directive, or decision, on the basis of which border control takes place at the external borders of the Schengen area, in Chapter 4, Section 1, as well as in Articles 4.24 and 4.25, Article 4.29, paragraph 1, under (g), Article 4.35a, Article 4.52a, paragraph 1, Article 4.52b, paragraph 1, Article 6.5a, paragraph 4, under (d), and Article 6.5b, paragraphs 1 and 2, "the Netherlands" shall also be understood to include: the territories of other states belonging to the Schengen area.
Ter uitvoering van een verdrag of een EU-verordening, -richtlijn of -besluit, op grond waarvan de grenscontrole plaatsvindt aan de buitengrenzen van het Schengengebied, wordt in hoofdstuk 4, afdeling 1, alsmede in de artikelen 4.24 en 4.25, artikel 4.29, eerste lid, onder g, artikel 4.35a, artikel 4.52a, eerste lid, artikel 4.52b, eerste lid, artikel 6.5a, vierde lid, onder d, en artikel 6.5b, eerste en tweede lid, onder «Nederland» mede verstaan: de tot het Schengengebied behorende grondgebieden van andere staten.
