Article 1684

The court may, upon the claim of any of the partners, dissolve the partnership for important reasons.
Such a dissolution has no retroactive effect. The court may grant the claim subject to conditions to be set by it and order a party who has failed to comply with its obligations to pay damages, with the corresponding application of Article 277 of Book 6.
Articles 265-279 of Book 6 do not apply to a partnership (maatschap).
De rechter kan op vordering van ieder der vennoten de maatschap wegens gewichtige redenen ontbinden.
Een zodanige ontbinding heeft geen terugwerkende kracht. De rechter kan de vordering toewijzen onder door hem te stellen voorwaarden en een partij die in de naleving van haar verplichtingen is tekortgeschoten, met overeenkomstige toepassing van artikel 277 van Boek 6 tot schadevergoeding veroordelen.
De artikelen 265-279 van Boek 6 zijn op een maatschap niet van toepassing.
