Employer is the employer within the meaning of the Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet), except insofar as the employer derives its status as an employer from Article 10, paragraph a, subparagraph g, of that Act.
In the cases referred to in Article 8, paragraph 2, the employer is the natural person to whom, or the body or the organ of a body to which, the employee is in an employment relationship.
In the cases referred to in Article 9, the person or entity designated as employer by Our Minister shall be regarded as the employer.
Werkgever is de werkgever in de zin van de Ziektewet behoudens voorzover deze zijn werkgeverschap ontleent aan artikel 10, onderdeel a, onder g, van die wet.
In de gevallen, bedoeld in artikel 8, tweede lid, is werkgever de natuurlijke persoon tot wie, het lichaam of het orgaan van een lichaam tot welk, de werknemer in dienstbetrekking staat.
In de gevallen, bedoeld in artikel 9, wordt als werkgever aangemerkt de persoon of instantie, die door Onze Minister als werkgever wordt aangewezen.
