For the purpose of the stay of a foreign national who resides or wishes to reside in the Netherlands for the performance of work as a highly skilled migrant, the employer recognized as a sponsor pursuant to Article 2c of the Act may act as a sponsor, with whom the foreign national has concluded an employment agreement or a hosting agreement or who has appointed the foreign national and who, insofar as required under the Trade Register Act 2007 (Handelsregisterwet 2007), is registered in the trade register referred to in Article 2 of that Act.
For the purpose of the residence of a foreign national, who resides or wishes to reside in the Netherlands as a holder of the European Blue Card, the employer with whom the foreign national has concluded an employment contract or a guest agreement, or who has appointed the foreign national, may act as a sponsor.
For the purpose of the stay of a foreign national who resides or wishes to reside in the Netherlands for an intra-corporate transfer, the host entity within the meaning of Article 3, point (d), of Directive 2014/66/EU may act as a sponsor.
Ten behoeve van het verblijf van een vreemdeling die in Nederland verblijft of wil verblijven voor het verrichten van arbeid als kennismigrant, kan als referent optreden de krachtens artikel 2c van de Wet als referent erkende werkgever, met wie de vreemdeling een arbeidsovereenkomst of gastovereenkomst heeft gesloten of die de vreemdeling heeft aangesteld en die, voor zover op grond van de Handelsregisterwet 2007 vereist, is ingeschreven in het handelsregister, bedoeld in artikel 2 van die wet.
Ten behoeve van het verblijf van een vreemdeling, die in Nederland verblijft of wil verblijven als houder van de Europese blauwe kaart, kan als referent optreden de werkgever, met wie de vreemdeling een arbeidsovereenkomst of gastovereenkomst heeft gesloten of die de vreemdeling heeft aangesteld.
Ten behoeve van het verblijf van een vreemdeling die in Nederland verblijft of wil verblijven voor een overplaatsing binnen een onderneming, kan als referent optreden de gastentiteit in de zin van artikel 3, onder d, van richtlijn 2014/66/EU.
