Article 576

The sale shall be effected in the same manner as that of other movable property, if the attachment has been levied on:
sea-going vessels, of which the gross volume is less than 20 cubic metres or the gross tonnage is less than 6 or, in the case of a vessel under construction will be, and which are not registered in the public registers referred to in Section 2 of Title 1 of Book 3 of the Civil Code, or on
inland navigation vessels as referred to in paragraph 2 of Article 785 of Book 8 under (a) of the Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek), which are not registered in any of the registers mentioned in Article 781, under (c) and (d), of Book 8 of the Civil Code, nor in any other similar foreign register.
The publication shall be effected by announcement in a daily newspaper, distributed in the place where the vessel is located, and by posting according to local custom and in any event in a conspicuous place on the vessel.
De verkoop zal geschieden als die van andere roerende zaken, indien het beslag gelegd is op:
zeeschepen, waarvan de bruto-inhoud minder dan 20 kubieke meters of de brutotonnage minder dan 6 bedraagt of, in geval van een schip in aanbouw zal bedragen, en die niet te boek staan in de openbare registers, bedoeld in afdeling 2 van titel 1 van Boek 3 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek, of op
binnenschepen als bedoeld in het tweede lid van artikel 785 van Boek 8 onder a van het Burgerlijk Wetboek, die niet te boek staan in een der registers genoemd in artikel 781, onder c en d, van Boek 8 van het Burgerlijk Wetboek, noch in enig ander soortgelijk buitenlands register.
De bekendmaking zal geschieden door aankondiging in een dagblad, verspreid ter plaatse waar het schip zich bevindt, en door aanplakking naar plaatselijk gebruik en in elk geval op een in het oog vallende plaats van het schip.
